TC (Sealed Units) Ltd improve productivity with the Smartfill-1

Inagas has supplied TC (Sealed Units) Ltd of Luton (formerly part of G.I.S. Windows Group) with a Smartfill-1, trolley and a Portable Hot Melt Gun, all of which have been introduced to improve efficiencies and productivity.
Tony Calvano, Managing Director of TC (Sealed Units) Ltd explains:”The industry has been through some tough times in recent years which has meant we have all had to work harder to improve quality and service to ensure we keep ahead of our competitors. “We have been gas filling for a couple of years now but recently decided to invest in the latest technology as, since the change in legislation, we need to rely on quality of the technology we are using to maintain our EN1279 accreditation. Inagas is a well established company with many years experience in updating and perfecting their technology to ensure they are offering the most effective solutions. The Smartfill concept is great; a computerised system which uses sensors to gas fill and extract the air simultaneously, with operator control from the lance. There are visible and audible signals on completion and the ability to change gas fill percentages should you need to. It’s far quicker and much more comprehensive than our previous machinery and we are delighted at how much it has improved production in the short time we have had it.”
