Inagas launches data logging and print capability

Inagas, the industry leaders in the supply of gas filling machinery and testing equipment, is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new data logging and printing feature.
Seen for the first time at Glassbuild USA, the feature was developed as an extension of the company’s already comprehensive offering, based on feedback that customers wished to keep a complete record of their gas filling production. After every gas fill cycle the time, date, gas-filling percentage, overfill cycle, IG number, line number and filling time are recorded and stored in the Smartfill’s memory. This information can then be down loaded via a USB stick and transferred to an Excel file, and as well as recording this Data, an IG label is printed showing the same information. An extra feature also sees a supervisor pin code lock added for the first time, preventing only those with the necessary code accesses to the Smartfill’s menu screen.
Chris Kemp, Director at Inagas explains: “As the industry becomes more focused on every aspect of quality control and testing, the ability to record and print data from the Smartfill range is something our customers are now looking for. They want the capability to share this information with their customers as well as to use it for their own internal testing and quality control.”
“The printing process can either be run directly to a company’s network or through a Windows based PC/Laptop or Panel PC. Once the PC and printer have been sourced customers are welcome to send it to us to set it up for them in house. We’re confident the new development will be cost effective addition to those purchasing a machine from the Smartfill range, and the retrofit capability ensures that existing customers can also benefit.
