With over 25 years in the industry, Alternative Windows are one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of windows and doors in the North East of England. In their pursuit of offering their customers an A rating, they took the decision to invest in gas filling and testing equipment from Inagas and have been delighted at the outcome.
Nigel Fletcher, Company Director of Alternative Windows explains:”With the intention of improving our Window Energy Ratings, we took the decision to introduce gas filling to our production. Before deciding on the Smartfill-2 from Inagas, we researched all of the machinery on the market and explored the other options available to us. Out of the number we reviewed, the Smartfill was a clear winner because of the user friendly touch screen controls and the ability to fill direct from the SmartStart lance, without the need to return to the machine. We also invested in the handheld Test Oxy, which allows us to prove the level of gas within the units, once they have been filled, in order to maintain compliance.
